We are The Retrobeats - a highly experienced 4 piece live band playing pop and rock 'n' roll hits from the mid 1950s to the mid 1970s. Our repertoire is made up of feel-good hits from across the years and we try to be a little bit different by including less obvious but still well known songs. With a motto of bringing on back the good times we aim to have our audiences singing along if we can't tempt them onto the dance floor. We encourage audience participation and regularly invite partygoers to join us on the stage to provide backing vocals and this always gets a great reaction.
We are based in the North West of England and perform across the region at pubs, social clubs, weddings, parties, charity events, festivals etc... in fact anywhere wanting great danceable music from a live band.
The band consists of drums, bass, tambourine and guitar with two main vocalists enabling us to handle a wide variety of songs with harmonies and backing vocals.
We are a self contained band with compact, high performance equipment, perfect for small/medium size venues. We are public liability insured and all our equipment is PAT tested. We never use backing tracks and all the music is performed by ourselves at a comfortable volume - we are not a loud band. We endeavour to be as flexible and accommodating as possible to ensure your event is a success.
By prior arrangement, using our PA system we can also provide music mixes for you - from background music to chat to, music during breaks and even a lively disco playing songs from all eras and for all ages to finish your night off! You can relax in the knowledge that all your entertainment for the evening is taken care of.
Further information about the band and contact/booking information can be found via the menu options on the left.
Hope to see you soon,
All the best,
Paul, Brian, Karen & Jeff
